· Track and Field Results can be found in the Sports Section of the website. · Singing in church- Thank you to all who came and sang “Take and Eat” at church on Sunday. It is always great to see the students participating in the worship service. · Book Report- Students should be reading their 2 books by the same author and working on their powerpoint for their book report due on May 18th. · Field Trip- The 7th and 8th grade class will be taking a field trip to the Minnesota Zoo this Thursday. As part of their learning about animals, the students will receive a zoo scavenger hunt packet to complete during their visit. We plan to depart from school at 8:30 AM. Deb Beise, Arvid Green, Pam Hanson, and Mr. Hochmuth will be driving. · Track Field and Fun Day- We will be leaving for Mt. Olive at 8:30 AM this Friday. Amy Stuart and Mr. Hochmuth will be driving. · Student Teacher- Mr. Wolf will be finishing his student teaching experience this week. · Art Fair- The students did a wonderful job with their Art Fair projects. What a joy to see such artistic talent. · Softball Games- Make sure to check the newsletter for the updated softball schedule. Note: we will need drivers for the girls game at King of Grace and boys game at St. John’s, Corcoran. Both games are being played this Thursday. · Field Trip- The 7th and 8th grade class will be taking a field trip to the Minnesota Zoo on Thursday, May 10th. The Art Fair will be held on April 26th. Projects need to be brought in on Wednesday. · Field Trip- The 7th and 8th grade class will be taking a field trip to the Minnesota Zoo on Thursday, May 10th. · Updated Report Cards are being sent home today. Spanish should have replaced Handwriting on the report card. Sorry for the confusion. · Singing in Church- Grades K-8 will be singing in the 10:30 AM service this Sunday for Palm Sunday. Please let me know if your child cannot make it. · Jump Rope for Heart- We will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart this Friday. The 5-8 graders will participate from 12:30- 1:45 PM. The 7th and 8th graders will help with the activities for the K-4th grades afterwards. Please bring comfortable clothing! · Book Report- Students should be choosing 2 books to read by the same author for their final book report in May. The author should be chosen by this Friday. · Book Orders- Book orders are being sent home today. Please return the orders by Friday with cash or a check written out to Mr. Hochmuth. · Projects- Students should be working on their Washington D.C. projects, Art Fair projects, and reading their books for the May Book Report. These are long-term projects, but will come quickly to those who procrastinate.
